Summer Camps
Schools out for the summer!! Enjoy a “blast” dance.  During
the three days your child will learn ballet, jazz, modern,
musical theater, hip hop, and much more.  This is a great
opportunity to try new styles and make new friends.  
  • Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Modern, Musical Theater.
  • Snack Time.
  • Showcase.
  • Sample Schedule*:
            1:00-1:45        Ballet
            1:45-2:30        Jazz

    *each class followed by brief water/snack break.

“Tutus and Tiaras” for 4-5 year olds

Does your little one dance around the house pretending
to be Cinderella, the Sugarplum Fairy, or Hannah
Montana? Then send your child to our "Tutus and Tiaras"
camp. Your child will enjoy age appropriate classes in a
variety of dance forms such as ballet, jazz, and creative
movement.  They will have craft time and story time
where they can learn the story of ballets such as The
Nutcracker and Coppelia.

This workshop is for the serious student desiring to refine their
technique and elevate their knowledge of dance.  The
students will enjoy classes in a variety of dance forms and
present a showcase of what they learned at the conclusion.  
We ask that your child have at least one year of dance
experience.   In addition to the practical study of dance,
your child will also take classes in dance history, injury
prevention, nutrition, and how to audition successfully.

Dance “Boot Camp”

August 2-6 (Novice)
This workshop is for the beginner student and is perfect for
those desiring to join their school’s dance team in the
future or fulfill summer dance hours often required by the
team.  Also, show choir students wanting to perform like
the singers on “Glee”, this is the perfect place to perfect
your moves.  The students will enjoy classes in a variety of
dance forms and present a showcase of what they
learned at the conclusion.

Summer Camp Tuition

  • $50 non-refundable deposit due at registration to hold a
    place in the camp is due by May 31.
  • Family discount does not apply to camps.
  • Camp sizes are limited to 15 students.  You can put your
    name on a waiting list and in the event of a cancellation you
    will be notified.
  • MDA reserves the right to cancel any camp that does not
    meet minimal enrollment.
  • Dress Code for camps is any color leotard, pink tights, black
    jazz pants to put on for certain classes, pink ballet shoes, and
    black jazz shoes.  Hair must be secured away from the face in
    braids or bun.  
  • Students need to bring a water bottle that they can refill and
    a healthy lunch or snack (depending on the length of the
    camp).  There will not be long for breaks so trips to the 7-11 or
    surrounding restaurants are not allowed.

Refund Policy/Dropping Classes/Camps:
Registration and costume/performance fees are never refunded. However, our tuition refund schedule is as follows:
  • Prior to first lesson - 100% refund.
  • Withdrawal within first two weeks - 60% refund.
  • Withdrawal within first three weeks - 40% refund.
  • Withdrawal within first four weeks - 20% refund.
  • NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN AFTER THE FIRST 4 WEEKS OF CLASSES FOR ANY REASON, but unused (prorated) tuition will
    be issued in the form of an account credit toward future dance classes (not merchandise). Credit is not
    transferable. If you choose to drop a class, you must submit this in writing.  Withdrawal date will be the date that
    corresponds with the date of your written withdrawal.
