“As a performing art, dance involves a lot of anatomy. I teach the basics of how the body moves
in regards to muscle structure and bone placement to give students a greater understanding of
how to precisely and efficiently execute what dance asks of us. But the technicality of dance by
itself would leave a dancer incomplete. It is the passion, heart, emotion and expression that takes
steps and turns them into art and entertainment. My goal is develop dancers who are proficient
in their technique and who can take an audience on a journey by telling a story with their
movement. I hope they catch my love of dance and share it with the world.”
