Annual Demonstration
Beginning with the Fall 2005 dance year, all students will have the opportunity to participate in the annual demonstration which will be held in May - mid June. Student must be enrolled in the class by February 1 to participate. Students enrolling after this time can learn the dance, but will not be allowed to perform. We will order costumes from reputable costume suppliers. Costume fee of $50 or $60 per student per class will be collected in November. Performance fee of $35 per student or $45 per family will be collected in March. This performance is optional, but we encourage everyone to participate as it is the ultimate reward for a year of hard work. If finances hinder you from participating, payment plans or scholarships can be arranged for hard-working, deserving students.
TATD (Texas Association of Teachers of Dance) Annual Convention
Any student age 12 and older is invited to attend this 4-day workshop held in a neighboring city. They will enjoy classes with special faculty, possibility to perform in the floor show, and the opportunity to win scholarships to the annual convention. This is held during the month of June.
