Anne-Marie Hartley-Spradlin has been teaching since 1980. She has taught for the Boston Ballet School, Richmond Ballet School, Ballet Austin Academy, Indianapolis Ballet Theatre School, Nashville Ballet School, Franklin School of the Arts in Tennessee, New Hampshire School of Ballet, Lisa Pilato School of Dance, the Dianne Kelly Dance Studio, and Dance Dimensions in Round Rock. Mrs. Hartley-Spradlin was a student at the Boston Ballet and New York City Ballet’s academy, School of American Ballet. She then began her professional career as an apprentice with the Boston Ballet. She went on to perform with the Richmond Ballet, Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, and Ballet Austin. Some of her favorite roles throughout her career were Sugar Plum Fairy and Dew Drop Fairy in “The Nutcracker”, Myrtha in “Giselle”, lead couple in Balanchine’s “Allegro Brilliante” and “Who Cares?”, and a soloist in “Don Quixote” and “Swan Lake”. She also was featured in Lambrose Lambrou’s “Shankar” and “Sundances”, and Dace Dindonis’s “Variations Brilliante”.
