Latisha Coffey has been teaching since 2000. She has taught for Center Stage and Dance Center in Deer Park, Texas. More recently, she has taught at Footnotes Dance Studio in Oak Hill. Mrs. Coffey graduated from the Performing and Visual Arts School in Houston, Texas, and received her degree in dance from Texas State University. She has studied with master teachers from the Martha Graham Company, Alvin Ailey, Twyla Tharp, the Joffrey Ballet, and renowned teachers Wade Robson, Mia Michaels, and Shane Sparks. During her studies at Texas State University she was a member of the Strutters Dance Team. As part of the Texas State Strutters, she performed in Russia, Sweden, and Norway and also, annually for a Spurs game in San Antonio, Texas. She also choreographed and danced with the Jazz Co. at TSU. Latisha works a full time job in the Semiconductor Industry at Applied Materials as a Buyer/Planner. She has worked at AMAT for 6 years and previous to this was a Recruiter for Manpower.
