Dana Nichols has been teaching since 2003. She has been on faculty with Take Five Dance Academy and Ballet Arizona in Phoenix, Arizona. She is currently studying to earn her Associates in Kinesiology from ACC. She has danced with Scottsdale Community College's modern company, Moving Company, and their jazz company, SAJE. She also performed in instructional videos for Bill Hotaling of the Manhattan Dance Project, and guest performed with Instinct Dance Corp. Miss Nichols has been a principal member of Austin Metamorphosis Dance Ensemble for two years enjoying memorable roles such as "Miss Black" in "The Hotel".
"I believe strongly in the ability of each individual and it is my goal to find where each individual excels and to build upon that. Each dancer is equally important to me, and it is important that they leave each class feeling they have accomplished something new. Every student should have the opportunity to continue their dance careers as far as they choose to take it, and it is my responsibility and desire to give them the tools to do that." |
