Round Rock
Requirements:
Apprentice:
  • Meet all the requirements of the Senior Company,
    but apprenticeship is based on ability to handle
    challenging choreography alongside seasoned
    adult dancers.  
Senior Company:
  • Must be at least 11 years of age and have a
    minimum of 3 years of ballet training.
  • Must currently be enrolled in at least 2 ballet
    classes a week and one additional class of another
    genre. (Company class does not count as one of
    these classes.)
Junior Company:
  • Must be at least 10 years of age and have a
    minimum of 2 years of ballet training.
  • Must currently be enrolled in at least 2 ballet class
    and one additional class of another genre.
    (Company Class does not count as one of these
    classes.)
Company placement and casting depend on the skill and
work ethic of the dancers individually.  Skill is increased by
taking multiple classes during the week, but does not
ensure placement in the company. Student must pass
audition or be placed in the company by invitation from a
director.
A.M.D.E. II Junior and Apprentice Company
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age with an
    extensive background in ballet, jazz, and
    modern.
  • Must be available for weekend rehearsals.
  • Must take classes during the week to ensure that
    you can keep up with the rigorous
    choreographic demands.
